Respected Shravak/Shravika,
Pranam.
Shree Melbourne Shwetambar Jain Sangh (MSJS) is pleased to invite you and your family to celebrate Aaso Maas Oli, starting from Wednesday 9th October to Thursday 17th October 2024 (from Aaso Sud 6 to Aaso Sud 15 - Kshay of Aaso Sud 12).
MSJS has organised Non-Residential Gyan Shibir for children, youth, and adults at MSJS Centre separately followed by Samooh Aayambil / Swami-vatsalya to celebrate this occasion for the weekend before and weekend during Aaso Maas Oli. Gyan Shibir is a fantastic medium to learn, understand, and explore Jain philosophy while reflecting upon our inner selves and faith collectively and cohesively in a particularly conducive environment.
With the blessings of Dev, Guru, and Dharma, we are delighted to inform you that Shri Nikhilbhai and a team of volunteers from Tattvam Mystic Foundation will be coming to Melbourne to embark on a spiritual journey through this Gyan Shibir and Prabhu Bhakti during Aaso Maas Oli.
About Shri Nikhilbhai
From a very young age, Nikhilbhai has been closely connected with many Jain Aacharya Bhagwants, Sadhu Bhagwant, and scholars for in-depth studies in Jainism. He has been helping many Sadharmik around the world to learn and understand Jain Tatva Gyan via Shibir, Swadhyay, Prabhu Bhakti, and other religious events. He has been imparting the philosophical aspects of various principles to many of the Saadhu-Saadhviji Bhagwants.

Let’s connect, learn, and grow together through this one-of-a-kind spiritual journey!
As per Jainism, Navpadji Oli is considered as Shashwati Parva. It means the Navpadji Oli festival exists in all time cycles (past, present, and future).
During these nine days, one should do Aayambil - which means - Eat once a day in one sitting- a simple spice-free food, boiled or cooked without milk, curd, ghee, oil, green/raw vegetables, fruits, dry fruits and sugar.
Let us all join together to celebrate the most auspicious Gyan Parva during the festive days of Navpadji Oli.
We encourage all to join for weekday Swadhyay during Aaso Maas Oli. More details to follow soon
