#Paryushan Parva Day 6 - Mahaveer Swami Bhagwan Nishal Gaman

On the 6th day of Paryushan, Bhagwan Mahaveer Swami's Nishal Gaman (start of schooling), is read in the Kalpasutra. Since last year, we have started giving education-related gifts to all children present on that day. Last year we had approximately 70 families who participated in distributing educational gift items to over 200 children.

All of the children were very excited and we had a lot of participation from families. This led to the children receiving the same item multiple times. Based on the feedback this year, our Sangh has decided to organise a collective age-group-appropriate gift/s to be distributed to children so parents don't need to buy gifts individually.

You can participate by contributing a nakro of $201 (Shubh Sarva Sadharan), which will be used to buy gifts for all the children. We encourage everyone to take a labh in this activity and RSVP for their kids. Gifts will be distributed on Sunday morning to all children who are present.

Venue Location:

All events (except Saturday 16th Sept)  to be held at MSJS Centre, 124-126 Rowans Road, Moorabbin, VIC 3189.
Saturday 16th September Mahaveer Janma Vanchan event will be held at Collingwood Town hall, 140 Hoddle St, Abbotsford Vic 3067.

Western Suburb:

  • Morning Pooja, Chauvihar, evening Pratikaman and evening Pravachan live streaming (except on 16,17 and 19 Sept) will be at Werribee Masonic Hall, 223 Watton St, Werribee, Vic 3030. For further information on this, please contact Vishal Mehta on 0470 370 220.
