Kaaratak Sud 5 is one of the most auspicious days as per Jainism. As a Jain, we must do as much Gnan Aaradhana as possible on this day.

This year, MSJS has organised Gnan Poojan at MSJS Centre as per below details:

Time: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Gnan Pancham (Kartik Sud 5) is celebrated by Jain community to recognise importance of Gnan. It is a very special day where members of Jain community seek wisdom and knowledge by performing worship of pure knowledge and the holy books (Veneration of Scriptures).

Sheth family is pleased to invite you and your family to worship pure knowledge by performing pooja of holy scriptures on Gnan Pancham.

Gnan Pooja can be carried out by doing vashakshep pooja of holy idols and holy scriptures/books, 51 Logassa, 51 Swastika, 51 Khamasamna and 20 Navakarvali of the Jap Pad of ‘Om Hrim Namo Naanass’. Many Jain observe fast on this day, some observe fast where complete silence is observed without speaking.

Please note that there is NO RSVP required and you do not need to be in Pooja clothes to participate. We request everyone to kindly spare some time and join us any time on the Gnan Pancham for one of the annual essentials (Varshik Kartavya) for Jain.
