Samyak - Religious Mono Role Play competition for Kids

MSJS has always encouraged young children to learn and practice Jain religion and its fundamental principles which help prepare themselves for better future.

This Paryushan, we would like to encourage our young children to participate in Samyak - Religious Mono Role Play competition. Participation in this competition will encourage your child to learn and explain Jainism history, life of Tirthankar Bhagwan, well known Sadhu & Sadhviji Bhagwant, Shravak & Shravika.

The participant child can prepare a small Mono Role Play or autobiography of Religious character based on Jain Story or any other Jainism related material and present this on the stage to audience. The performance should be no longer than 2 minutes. For more information, please click here.

Open Book Exam based on “Gharshala”

MSJS has always encouraged Sadharmik to learn more in creative ways and practice Jain religion and its fundamental principles.

Considering overwhelming participation & success of previous activities/competitions, MSJS Paryushan Committee has organized an Open Book Exam this year. This will be based on a book called “Gharshala” (ઘરશાળા) which mainly emphasis on how to give "Sanskar" to our next generation in the 21st century.

More details about this open book exam can be found by clicking here.

Child Minding Facility

Paryushan 2014 Committee is working extremely hard to help you do the Paryushan Aaradhana very well, which includes arranging child minding facility for your children at Pravachan time (19:30 to 22:00 hours) on weekdays during Paryushan except Samvatsari day.

Generally, it is extremely difficult to organise child carers during weekdays evening, especially when it is just for couple of hours. To help us assess the number of carers required, we need to ascertain the number of children requiring child minding facility.

Hence, The Paryushan 2014 Committee requests you to let us know how many of your children require child minding on which day by filling in the RSVP form.

  •  Please note that child minding facility will be available only at Pravachan time (19:30 to 22:00) on weekdays except Samvatsari day.
  • Parents need to bring their own toys to keep children engaged.
  • You will be required to pay a 100% REFUNDABLE deposit of AUD $10.00 per child per day at the time of doing RSVP. This deposit amount will be refunded on the requested day at the Pravachan time.

RSVP is now closed. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.

Chaitya Paripati/Pat Darshan

Chaitya Paripati is one of the Kartavyas during Paryushan which involves visiting multiple Derasars after Samvatsari.

To fulfil this Kartavya, MSJS has organized Chaitya Paripati on Sunday – 31/08/2014 during the fortnightly Samayik.
